Love of A Lifetime
How do you know that you have loved a person your entire lifetime?
You think of him the very moment before you close your eyes when you go to bed at night.
You think of him the very moment you open your eyes when you wake up in the morning.
You wonder whether he had a good night sleep the night before, and hope that he had dreamt of you the way you have dreamt of him.
You wish you never woke up from your slumber whenever you were with him in a dream.
You think of millions of ways to help him, without him asking.
Every scent, movie, noise, song, moment, walk, little gestures, etc reminds you of him.
You secretly pray that he would find happiness in every walk in his daily life.
Every sip of coffee in the morning reminds you that you are still alive, and that person is still being loved.
This is how much I miss him. This is how much I had loved and will always love him. This is how much he matters to me, even when he had chosen to remain oblivious about it. This is how I could love him when he refuses to acknowledge my love. This is all I could do to respect his wishes, feeling content to have loved him from afar.
This is all I have given, to love him a lifetime.

Hi Gina, I’ve been reading your blog for a few months now and I love your style and wit. I’ve felt the same away about a guy for 3 years and in the end even though I confessed to him, it didn’t work out. I’m currently together with another person now, and now when I think back to those times of pining for him, I think I may be just deeply infatuated. Seems that it’s human nature to want the things that we can’t get. Nowadays I still wonder “what if I’m with him instead of …?” but I just don’t feel the same way anymore, because I’m truly happy with who I’m with now, and he came smack into my life unexpectedly, when I wasn’t looking!Sounds corny but true in my case. Fate in mysterious ways ….. Anyway, just wanted to drop a note because of the chord your writing struck in me. Take care … keep up the good charm and humour. Trust in the unknown … though it really sucks at times …

Shom: Thank you for your kind words. It (the recollection) usually happens when the night is rainy, and when you are all alone in your room, you can’t help but to think of him. I am okay. Just that at times, emotions would be cruel enough to play tricks on you, and make you suffer.
I am glad things turn out to be good for you. Yes, I will keep my hopes held up high and be thankful for the things that had been.

Yo.. I can’t really comment on this coz I am in between hang over. Currently I am still learning to let go bit by bit of my ex. Sometime I dun even know how to feel anymore. Well, I would say maybe keep trying though it is not an aquarius style but sometime love conquer all. Suddenly my heart just dun know how to feel when she told me she dun hv feeling for me anymore that day.. and she still misses that guy that come in between us the other time. Maybe its true what the Bible say.. love is longsuffering too. Well, perhaps now I find that the beauty of a relationship is TO LOVE AND BE LOVE.. yet to discover..

i know i can’t sleep well tonite if i don’y leave some remarks after reaading this particlar blog entry for the 3rd time…line by line.
defintely could identify what u mean when all u ever think n concern is HIM. he becomes such a big part of our life and making HIM feel good and safe has become our life priority
BUT BUT BUT….things does not have to be like that. its natural to love(especially for you) BUT its also quiet natural to retract our emotions n love and probably channel it to someone that would LOVE U for who u r. someone once told me we tend to stick our eyes to the Prince Charming even though he may be swarmed by an army of bees BUT in the process we may have miss out some less significant guys around us that God has made for us. If we only look at that prince charming…how can we see that there ae some other people???? therefore move on…slowly retract the love and channel it to someone else AND MORE importantly chnnel the love to ourself first..the woman who loves herself n is the MOST attractive woman. and u, Gina is one of them
